I didn't play any hands on Tuesday the 11th, and now Wednesday the 12th I didn't play any hands till finally early into Thursday morning (but we'll still call it Wednesday since I haven't slept yet). So yeah, I think it's fine that even with my goal of playing a ton of hands this month, that I give myself a little time off too. My pace of hands/hrs played is down from what it was a week ago, but I think it still looks pretty respectable by my standards anyway:

I just need to stop getting destroyed in full tilt 100/200 games and Stars 50/100 games (holy cripes I lose like 50 bets every session in Stars 50 games, it's so sick how overpairs and sets never win there for me). Fix those two things and keep on crushing in all the other games, and it'd be a flawless month.

Not too much more to report about life lately, August has been pretty boring and I've played a lot of poker and watched a lot of DVDs while playing (tons of Seinfeld episodes, every True Blood Episode, and some random movies...the best of which was probably a Swedish vampire movie called "Let the right one in."). Also the Twins really need to stop sucking any time now. I still think we can pull off a Central division crown, we just need to start piecing together a few more nights where the pitching and hitting both perform well (seem to so rarely have both doing well any given game).

That one is called "fireflies." Most of the songs from that album, Ocean Eyes, are pretty good -- especially if you're a fan of the postal service...Owl City's style is really similar.

Looks like they listened to you 5 in a row hope they can catch the Tigers, 4.5 games back yet is a lot of ground to make up

They start Laying down the sod yesterday at Target Field pretty exciting can't wait to go watch a game outside on a nice summer night.
