CARDRUNNERS
What's Your Edge
It seems like Americans are always hating on America today. I'll be honest, I'm often one of them. It can be so easy to take everything we have for granted and complain about the things that our country doesn't do right. We have some major problems, no doubt, but the truth is though we are all insanely lucky to live in a free country. I know it's so easy to lose perspective at times, especially being so ingrained in the poker world where money has a greatly diminished value. I try my best to keep things in focus, but I'm not always successful at it. I saw this clip today and it reminded me of how well I have it. I ask that everyone take 5 minutes to watch this clip. It's a great speech in honor of MLK and It really helps put things in perspective.

We officially hired our new Chicago admin today. Her name is Caroline. It was a very difficult process. It came down to two girls that both would have done a great job. After two interviews with both girls, we just felt that Caroline came across as the better candidate. Caroline is going to get involved in the Cardrunners community and I'm excited to see that happen. It will be very interesting to watch someone with no experience with the poker world try to soak in this very unique culture. I'm sure she will be shocked at some of the things that go on (mostly related to how some people treat money aka prop bets and high stakes games). We are going to have her blog about starting her job for Cardrunners and just her integration into the poker community in general. She starts on Monday. The one downside to her is that when I hear her name it gets the Outkast song in my head. I can't stop singing CaroLIIIIINE!!! I also only know that Caroline line and the one about roses really smelling like poopoo. Catchy song that doesn't get out of your head easily...
I gotta stop lying about posting poker hands. The thing is I usually blog on my work computer and play on my bigass laptop that I typically keep at home. No good, I know. I feel like my frequent blogging will be coming back to me very soon.
I'm a little disappointed with the new season of the Wire. I think it's too early to judge it though. Again, watch that show if you haven't yet. Best show ever, even if the new season is starting a bit slow. Taylor keeps telling me Dexter is the best show ever. I know that's not true, but I think I'll still start watching it soon.
I've caught a few of the new American Idol shows. I always like watching the tryouts. Overall, they haven't been that great. There is one guy that stands out though. He made up his own song and it's catchy as hell and hilarious to boot. It's long, but worth watching. Check it out.

Dexter IS the best show ever. I admit though, I have not yet seen the wire.
Jan 24, 08 00:27:17
i cant believe you think this new season of the wire is slow, BEWARE **** SPOILER****
Marlo fucin killed Prop Joe that is some intense shit.
Jan 24, 08 07:48:33
Dexter rocks for sure! One of the best shows EVER. Havent seen the wire yet but I already watched heroes because you mentioned it in your blog and I liked it :).
Jan 24, 08 10:30:30
Tell Caroline she can room with drama in vegas this summer...dramadramadramadramadrama
Jan 24, 08 20:19:27
Youre ignorent, I been preachin Dexter for a year now =D Prophet ftw!
I think you should post some pics of the office, and if she happens to be in the background, nothing you can do.
Jan 26, 08 22:37:33
DEXTER IS NO WIRE. I ADMIT THAT DEXTER IS ENTERTAINING BUT IT'S NOT THE WIRE.
Today I opened up what I thought was a resume from someone. It cleary wasn't a resume, but it looked like a cover letter. That's fine. I appreciated when people included a cover letter. This is how it began,
Honorable Judge X X. X,
I appeared before you about 4 months ago at a status hearing regarding my case for a public intoxication and fleeing law enforcement. Prior to this court date I had fired my lawyer due to my having to be at this hearing for not completing the PACT program, when I was reinstated into the program via judges orders, paid the fifty dollar reinstatement fee, and then received a status hearing letter three weeks later saying that I had a hearing for not completing my program.
LOL can you believe that? This guy is trying to get a job and he accidently attaches a letter to a judge basically pleading to not get slammed with serious criminal charges. It went on for about 5 or 6 paragraphs. I didn't bother reading it all, but I definitely got a kick out of it. Great stuff.
I really felt like putting some money on a game today. I was thinking I'd bet the NYG, but I ended up doing a 180 and betting the packer at -7.5 I'd love to run up a little money on Bodog, so let's hope they have a convincing victory.
I'm about to start playing poker. I'll post some interesting hands later.
Jan 22, 08 17:37:15
you should be very careful posting that type of thing... you may be violating privacy laws and can possibly put you and cr at risk.
I've been keeping really busy with Cardrunners stuff this week. We've got a ton going on with the site in general and in addition we've been working on hiring a new admin/assistant and video manager for the Chicago office. It's been an interesting process to say the least. We first posted a job description on craig's list. We had no idea the type of response we'd get. It was much larger than anything we could have guessed. In the end, we got over 400 replies. It was pretty intimidating to open up the email designated for this and see so many replies. I had no prior experience with trying to hire someone so it was all new to me. I was the main one sifting through the resumes. A lot of them were complete garbage and it was easy to delete them right away. I got pretty good at determining how reasonable resumes were quickly. You have absolutely no idea how clueless most people are about creating resumes and submitting them. My favorite thing I saw (and I saw this multiple times) was people would list "internet" as a skill. Someone else had Windows 95 as a skill. A lot of people made their resumes in Wordpad because the file was .rtf. I'm sorry, but an internet company is not going to hire someone that doesn't use Word.
Interviewing is a lot more fun when you're the one asking the questions. It's still somewhat stressful though. I wanted us to seem as legit as possible since our situation is so unique. Also, it's a little strange interviewing people that are older than I am. After an interview or two, we got into the swing of things and it went pretty well. We've got a few more interviews this next week. I'm definitely looking forward to having more people work out of this office.
I still haven't had any time to play poker. I'm itching to get back on the tables. Tomorrow I plan on playing all day while I watch football. I'm pretty excited for the football games too. NYG are listed at +7.5 on Bodog. I think that's going to be a pretty close game and I'm considering betting on them. The problem is it's going to be so cold that really anything could happen. I'm looking at the weather now and they are predicting 4 degrees with -10 windchill when the game starts. Completely brutal. By the way, the temp/wind chill is 4/-14 in Chicago right now. Gonna be a cold one if we go out tonight.
Taylor and I have been working out of the CR office today. In the past, I've only come into the office once before on a Saturday. With everything that's going on though, I could see it happening a lot more. That's fine with me. It's a lot more productive than sitting on the couch and watching TV. Another bonus is my gym is right here and I expect to be working out 6 days a week starting on Monday.
I'm about to start a pretty rigorous training routine. CR member, Doug Mills, has been helping me plan it out. It's basically the type of training that sprinters use. As he noted, sprinters are pretty much the most fit people you will ever find. The way this program works is you go nonstop for an hour everyday. There is essentially no resting. It has a lot to do with eating as well. It also incorporates cardio, which is something I've never trained very hard in. I'm looking to get into great shape within the next few months and I'm pretty excited even though I know it's going to be very tough. I've been eating some unhealthy food this week, because I know once I get on this program, I won't be eating that crap anymore.
Gotta start blogging more before Zimba passes me...
Damn. Since I wrote my last blog entry I dropped down a spot to the number 6 slot. Congrats to Verneer on moving up so high. He definitely deserves it more than me. He's got a great blog.
I made the post about how I was going to do a poker blog and avoid general rants and life posts. That's still the plan. The problem is that I haven't played poker in like 10 days (which would take us back to the time of my last post). I was in Aspen for a week and right before and after the trip I was pretty busy with other stuff. Well, afterwords, I was more concerned about recovering from a trip with way too little sleep. Anyway, I don't have any major trips planned until June when I go to Vegas, so it's going to be a long stretch with a solid routine.
Aspen was an amazing time. I had been to CO to ski once before, but it was two years ago. I was with a smaller group of friends that time and I wasn't 21. This time, I traveled with a pretty big group of people and really enjoyed being with all of them. A lof of the people we were with I don't see all that often, so it was a nice change of pace. I also made a few new friends. The last time I went to CO, we went to Telluride. I enjoyed the resort in general, but we caught it at a bad time and the snow was terrible. The slopes were icy, bare and even closed in certain places. This time around the snow was amazing. It snowed the entire time we were there and there was a huge base. We skied Snowmass three of the days and aspen highlands the other day. I much preferred Snowmass. It was bigger and less groomed. I decided on this trip that I definitely prefer ungroomed trails.
We skied with one of my friends, Carrie, who is an expert snowboarder. She pushed us to do hard trails and it really helped me improve over the course of the trip. I was horrible at moguls before this trip, but by the end I could tackle any black diamond without much trouble and even tried a double black (that was over my head). Anyway, I highly recommend Snowmass who anyone likes to ski or snowboard.
I delayed this post a bit, because one of my friends had a number of pictures with me in them. She hasn't put them up on facebook yet, so I'll just go with the few I have.
This is me and my friend, Sean. This run was called Long Shot. It was an interesting run, because it was at the very top of the mountain and you had to hike uphill about 200 yards from the top of the closest lift. It was a brutal hike, especially since we did it at 930am after a pretty heavy night of drinking. When we got to the top I collapsed for about 2 minutes to get my breath back. The run was pretty tough in that it was choppy and I wasn't warmed up yet. I made it down okay though. It was really cool because it was off the beaten pass and went through a bunch of trees. Overall, it was worth the hike. Unfortunately, it was snowing at this point so a lot of the view in the background is killed. We were up very high though.
The last night there, we had a nose cup party. For Christmas, my friend, Lindsay, got a stack of cups cups with noses on the side of them. It made for a good time. You can't quite see the differences in the noses from this picture, but some of them were pretty good. I had the giant nose. We took about 20 different pictures like this. This picture has me, Kristen, Sean and Carrie (the expert snowboarder I mentioned earlier).
Every night we had to take a 30 minute bus ride into Aspen to go out. It kind of sucked dealing with the bus, but Aspen turned out to be a pretty good time. This is Sean, Me and Aimee.
I plan to get back to the tables this week and get some hands posted in the blog. The only problem is I have a lot of Cardrunners stuff to do, so we'll see how much time I actually get in. Although, my directv is broken so anytime at home will probably be spent at the tables.
I hope the new year is going well for everyone.
I don't think I commented on NYE. We were at the Drake in Chicago and had a good time. Honestly, I'm glad I did it, but I probably wouldn't go the hotel route again. It reminded me of Prom. It was just a little too fancy. It also created a pretty awkward time from like 9-11 where people were just kind of standing around. It's always fun to dress up every once in awhile though. Ran into Andy (allreds26) and hung out with him for awhile. Always have a good time shooting the shit with Andy. He also managed to acquire a giant clock necklace by the end of the night. I wish I had a picture of it. In fact, I barely took any pictures, so I wish I had pictures of a lot of things. Below are some recent pics.
One out of the three pictures I took at our Christmas party. The other two I look like a retarded drunk. I'm still waiting on my buddy to put up his pics on facebook, because I know he has a lot. The background is the non dance floor/less crowded part of the party. Had some nice tables setup. Unfortunately, I wasn't in most of my pics from NYE. I like this one, because my friend in the middle has a pretty funny smile going there. I'm in this one. This was from later in the night. One last thing before I get to some poker stuff. My buddy whalen (far left in first NYE pic) showed me this clip. You usually can't top Sheed's antics. Watch the whole thing. It's pretty hilarious. REMIX. I'll start with PLO. I won't claim to be an expert in this game, but I'm doing the best I can. In this hand, I underbet on the turn to make it look like I was milking a monster. I was repping J10 on the river. I was pretty sure he didn't have J10 and it's hard for him to call without the nuts considering it was a huge bet on the river. Maybe a bit reckless, I don't know... He's drawing dead. I'm pretty sure I priced myself in here. These close calls I need to run to figure out for sure. This is a scary flop. I considered folding, but I think I have to call vs an unknown. I couldn't believe what he turned up. I didn't like this flop much either. I had been 3 betting him a pretty amount though so it was a no brainer. The turn had me scared. Thanks for holding! Great river allowed me to take him to value town. He should have never been in the hand to start with. Q9? really? I figured him for an overpair. Complete cooler for him. I like raising this flop though since it can hit so many hands. I maybe should have folded this flop. That small raise def looked suspicious. I was dead when I hit the king on the turn though. I don't know what he was hoping for here. I guess he just wanted to gamble. I'll take it even though I lost. I don't like his call preflop with AJ, even if it is suited. I thought this one was was pretty damn close. He had one of the hands I was worried about. Stat time: I don't know what PT PLO numbers are supposed to look like. Frankly, I think mine look pretty shitty. I pretty pretty passive. I usually play very loose and very aggressive. That causes me to swing a lot and I also tend to play too many pots. I tried a different route this session. I can't argue with the success, but it's such a small sample size. I'll have to see how it works out as I progress. I'm running very hot lately. I hope it continues. It probably won't...

"I was dead when I hit the king on the turn though" no, u werent! u had 4 outs, 10% to win on turn... ;)
I managed to just lose another blog entry. It was a huge entry too, because it was my 2008 Resolutions entry. I'm typing this entry in gmail and I'm going to do this for every entry from now on. Gmail auto saves every few minutes so it's hard to lose an entire entry. I just accidentally closed out the other one. Makes me pretty mad. Anyway, let's get to it again.
2007 was a year of big changes for me. Graduating from college was easily the biggest change. Even if my day to day stuff hasn't changed all that much, it's still a ton different being in the real world. It's like the entire way you view life changes. My friends are all different because they are humping real jobs that most of them don't like. It's weird for me, because on the surface things aren't that much different. Like I said though, things sure feel different. I also went from playing an insane amount of poker to not very much at all. CR shifted to a full time gig. It was great to be able to put in more time on CR, because that was a complaint of mine going into 2007. I just didn't have enough time or maybe I just had too many distractions to really put the effort into CR that I wanted to.
One of the things I started to focus on at the end of 2007 was growing up in general and also treating my body better. I feel as though I can act pretty immaturely at times. That was fine when I was a 19 year old living in a frat house in college, but that's not who I am anymore. I tend to drink too much at times. I really want to cut back on drinking in the new year. I'm rambling a bit. I'll get into my specific goals.
- Get in the best shape of my life. I made good strides on this in 2007, but I will really need to focus on this if I want to get to the next level. I guess my overall goal is to get cut and to also get in good cardio shape. I just want to feel very healthy. I'm going to cut out junk/fast food. In fact, I think the food aspect of getting in shape is much harder than actually working out. I have to be really dedicated to this to accomplish it. A CR member also told me about crossfit.com. It's a pretty cool site about getting in overall good shape. I'm considering just following that.
- I want to cut down on my spending. I don't really spend a ridiculous amount of money and I'm normally pretty good about it, but I feel myself slipping a bit lately. I don't have any big purchases on the horizon so I think I can do ok here. I want to average less than 5k in total expenses a month.
- Integrate more spirituality into my life. This was a goal I had last year that I totally struck out on. I recently read a book, Blue Like Jazz, that a CR member recommend. The subtitle is "nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality." I think that sums it up pretty well. In general it just kind of opened my eyes up a bit about a lot of things in life. One of my roommates is pretty religious so I think he can help me out some here.
- There is so much I want to accomplish with CR. I won't get into the specifics now. CR made huge strides in 2007 and I want to continue to see that happen in 2008.
- Get back to grinding poker more. In 2007, I really got away from the things that made me a good poker player. In a nutshell, I stopped taking the game seriously but still tried to beat higher stakes. I want to make a good push at 2/4nl. There I can get a few solid months under my belt and fine tune my game so that I can get back to really doing well at 5/10nl.
I started grinding 2/4nl 6max yesterday and today for my new challenge. Below are my PT stats. I've been running well and I'm really happy with how it's gone so far. I need to get back into the habit of saving HHs while I play. Since I already have a big post going, I'll save that for my next post.
There's some tweaking I need to do on my stats. I'm not too far off though. I want to be tigther, come in raising more and be a bit more aggressive.
The Wire starts in a week. What an amazing show. I'm finishing up season 4 with my roommate right now. I just can't say enough good stuff about that show. Best TV I've ever seen. I'm very pumped for season 5 to start. Check out this promo.
Jan 2, 08 04:11:56
I had the same problem before. I use MS Word now. that works fine for me and also checks my spellig erors.
Jan 2, 08 14:27:38
the wire is already on demand if you have comcast. they put it on a week before the episode airs
Jan 2, 08 19:59:29
I agree The Wire is the best show that has ever been on TV. I just watched the first two episodes of Season 5 and it continues to be awesome like only The Wire can be.

Andrew,
First, I enjoy your videos, and am pleasd to see your progression as a teacher. You have made great strides in your ability to convey your thought processes during our videos, and it's definitely showing.
Second, I can help you get in shape (unbelievable ripped and muscular shape in less time than you would think), but you have to follow the plan very closely. If you want to e-mail me at doug@azurecustompools.com I will lay out a plan for you, and trust me, if you follow it... you will not believe how quickly and how significantly your health changes. I was a World Finalist in PWC racing, and thw workouts we did are the most effective I've ever sen for developing/maintaining muscularity, strength, and cardio-conditioning that are beyond imagination. (especilly given the shortness of the workouts)
Just let me know, and I will lay it out for you. I can go from 3 months out of the gym to looking and feeling ike a prize fighter in 4-6 weeks. By the way, I was a Pike at UofI (a while back), so I am happy to help a UofI broter (whether you are a Pike or not...lol)
Hope you are well, and I will talk to you soon.
best of luck for the New Year.
Doug
I tend to fly a lot. I would say I fly on average at least once a month. I also fly by myself a lot. Everytime I get on a plane and I'm walking to my seat, I'm always thinking, for once, let me sit by a good looking girl. It never happens. I get stuck next to 300 pound smelly people who take up half my seat. Yesterday I had a two leg flight to get back to Chicago from my family's cabin in Michigan. The first flight was from Alpena to Detroit. I had a whole row to myself. If I'm not going to get to sit next to a hot girl, I might as well get an entire row to myself. Besides, that flight was a 7am and I wasn't in any mood to talk anyway. The next flight was from Detroit to Chicago. My seat was all the way in the back. I'm always one of the last people to get on a plane, so I can usually see my seat from a distance once I get on. When I had made it about halfway back on the plane, I could see I finally got lucky and was seated next to an attractive girl that appeared to be about my age. To make things even better I looked down the aisle and saw the flight attendent was a very attractive young blonde. Things were looking up on this early morning. When I sat down, I started to chat up the girl next to me. It took her all of 2 sentences to state "I'm going to Chicago to visit my boyfriend." Ack. So much for that. I talked to her a bit longer, but the fun was gone. I ended up just trying to sleep the rest of the way home. I guess my hope in the future is to sit next to a hot and single girl.
My friends and I are going to the Drake in Chicago tonight for NYE. I'm pretty excited. It's a really classy event. It's fun to get all dressed up every now and then. In fact, I essentially didn't own a suit. I had a suit that I used in high school for dances, but it doesn't really fit me anymore. This was a good excuse to go get a nice suit, so I bought one. I'm looking forward to wearing that tonight.
I'm going to do a challenge where I play 5k hands of NLHE, NLHE HU, PLO, PLO HU. It's for fun, to get into some good record keeping and to see how I fare in all those games. Obviously 5k hands isn't a ton, but it's enough to at least get a general idea. I'm mostly interested to see how I do in PLO, because I think I'm about a break even player in that game, but I love to play it. If this goes well, I might build it out and do it on a bigger scale. I'm going to post PT stats, HHs and just general results. Hopefully it'll be good to read about and can spruce up my blog some. I'll start that tomorrow. I don't necessarily expect to get it all done in Jan because I'll be traveling one week to CO to ski, but I'm gonna do my best.
I never commented on the Christmas party Taylor and I had. It was a blast. We probably had about 120 or so people come out. We went through a lot of booze and just had a good time. I'm waiting for my friend Manzo to put up pictures on facebook so that I can grab a few and put them up here.
Dec 31, 07 12:41:46
Did u decide to do the challenge per my suggestion?
I think I wrote about it in the forum post you made... but I can't find the link where you asked for suggestions of challenges to do.
Dec 31, 07 22:15:01
i guess no hot single girls fly. i had the same thing happen to me a few months ago.
Jan 1, 08 11:33:00
It coulda been worse...
Coulda been a gay guy who likes blonde guys who drive Neons...
Merry Christmas to everyone out there. I'm in Detroit now with my family. I got here yesterday with my family. Tomorrow we'll be heading up to my family's cabin to spend a few days. I'm flying back to Chicago on Saturday. I'm mostly going back to be in town for new year's but I figure that it'd be good to spend Saturday night with some of my friends that are back in town now.
I've been thinking back to my 2007 resolutions and I don't think I followed any of them really. It's kind of depressing to know I didn't make progress on a lot of things I wanted to. I'm gonna try to go back and find the post from last year. I want to make less resolutions this year so that I can hopefully follow them.
Supposedly we are going to play some rock band tonight after Christmas dinner. I've been meaning to play it, but just haven't got around to it. It should be fun to check that out and play it with my cousins.
Taylor and I were going to make a Christmas bonus video, but I forgot to bring my mic with me. Look for a New Year's bonus video from us.
I really think that lately my blog has been the worst it's ever been. My idea for the New Year is to go back to being a poker blog. I've been playing enough in general lately that I could talk a lot more poker. I'm thinking about some sort of challenge. Any ideas? I'm also looking to mostly play 2/4nl. I'm thinking a goal to play X amount of hands. It can't be a huge number becasue I just don't have the time or effort to play a ton, but something like 20k would be doable. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Dec 25, 07 16:27:33
How about a challenge like...
Play 2/4 Full Ring, HU, 6-Max, Omaha, and HA.
Minimum of 2000 hands at each.
Post atleast a 5 pt bb/100 win rate?
Or something similar... feel free to modify.
I just had a pretty long blog post get deleted for no reason. In hindsight, it wasn't one of my better posts. I'll quick hit on the things I wanted to discuss.
Solid towny pic. Vanessa (princessdonk) took this pic and if you read her blog you already saw it. I still wanted to put it up because it's a good pic.
Towny, me, Vanessa, Victor (fatbetpoker.com). Definitely a solid night. Probably too much drinking. Since my blog sucks I thought I'd link you to two other blogs I read that are very good. They aren't poker related, but it's good to mix it up, right? The Superficial is a great site. It basically just puts up pictures of celebs and makes fun of them or just comments on how hot the women are. Funny site with a lot of good pics. Plus you can keep up on celeb new like 16 year old Spears getting pregnant. Who would want to miss crazy news like that. By the way, I was hoping she'd turn out better than brit. Guess not. Shame really. Bill Simmons. If you like sports you probably already know about this blog. It's really good. I used to read it all the time and got it away from it for some reason. I've recently started reading it again. His most recent post about trade value is a great read. Check it out if you like the NBA at all. Pissed I forgot to play CR league the other night. I got distracted by my roommates watching superbad which led into tila tequila finale. League slipped my mind. Superbad kicks ass. Tila sucked. I actually liked that show but the finale was horrible. In a good groove with poker. I play for like an hour at night and win a buyin and quit. I've literally had my last 5 sessions play out like that. I'll take it. I've even been playing some heads up. Taylor and I are having a christmas party tomorrow. Should be a good time. I'll give some updates on that in my next post. Here's some Fogell for you. Gotta love it.

One quick note before I start. The CR League went very well last week and was a lot of fun. We had over 500 people participate. Unfortunately, I was in the airport when it went on and missed the first level and then ran AK into KJ a level or so after I began playing. I would have liked to last longer, but that's the nature of mtts. I will be playing again tonight and hopefully I have a better run. In case you missed the link above, more information.
Vegas is a great time, but it's killer on my body. I still don't feel very good and I have been home for a few days. It's just a mix of no sleep (biggest factor IMO), poor eating, no excercise, and too much drinking. Anyway, it's good to be home and getting back into the grind. It's nice to have the holidays approaching, but it also sucks that it won't be until the early new year that I can really get back into a good routine. Oh well.
Let me hit on the vegas trip a bit more. I played a lot of blackjack in vegas. Ever since I learned proper strategy, I really enjoy playing. It's a great way to kill time, get free drinks and meet people. I met some great people during my time at the tables. You get to bullshit with people you probably would have never crossed paths with. Unfortunately, after a hot start, I ran pretty horrible at the tables. It was still fun though.
I went to two of my favorite clubs while I was there. We went to tryst on Thursday. We met some guys from fatbet.com and pokerinside.com. They hooked us up with a great table. There were a bunch of their friends a decent amount of our friends there. People from the CR side included AceCR9, Princessdonk, Townsend, Ezra, Zimba, LatestLines, and myself (probably forgetting some people too). I had actually never been to Tryst, but I will definitely go back. It's a really great place. We also went to Jet on Friday. It was a smaller group, but still fun. The two times I've been to Jet, they've played great music. It's a simple club, but one of the best IMO.
I've been putting in some sessions here and there at 2/4nl. I've mostly been playing for like an hour at night before I go to bed. I've been very happy with my results. I haven't lost in my past 5 or so sessions and I've put together some nice wins to put me up about 3k in that span.
Here is one gem: I just called the flop because I didn't want to kill the hand right there. Sooted and I have some history. I've bluffed my fair share of hands against him. To him, the ace seemed like a card I might bluff. Also, if he made aces up he'd jam anyway. I made a smallish raise to give him fold equity and to make it look more like I was bluffing. It worked well and my hand held.

4s are wild. 44 treated me well this session. Pretty standard hand. I potted the turn because I wanted to rep a draw of sometime. It seems like quickly jamming a big bet will come off that way. He seemed to think I was weak and shoved his hand.

This converter is definitely a bit hard to read. Look for some improvements on it soon. Also, our replayer is in its final stages of beta testing. I've been using it a lot lately and I'm really pleased with how it came out.
