The family journeyed back up to NYC for our third consecutive Christmas in the city. And although I always find a way to have a good time up in New York, I'm ready for us to start vacationing elsewhere for the holidays. Good news is I'll be back in Chicago for a New Year's Eve party with some new friends, and I'm really looking forward to that.

For now, I'm staying at my brother's new place in Jersey City and helping him acclimate to life in a major city. We went to some bar in Hoboken and met a friend of his from work + a few other randos. Maybe it's just bad luck or small sample size, but I'm not really liking Jersey too much based on what I've been exposed to; I'd gladly take a place in Chicago (or Texas!) over Jersey any day.

I haven't touched poker since leaving Chicago -- save today -- and playing again feels good. I busted early from the massive Sunday Million, but I've got high hopes for the huge $650 PCA satellite and the FTP $750k, which are running now. Wish me luck.

lol jersey city and hoboken are some of the worst parts of jersey, go to Atlantic city during the summer :)
