I never thought I would thank my boss for laying me off but this is the best thing that can happen to me right now. I actually said "thank you for everything you did to get me laid off", seriously, lol. Long story short, I was promised a bottom rung on the ladder in my municipal job, and 2 years later was left off the ladder. I was hired as an building inspector, and due to the decline in permitted jobs, our permit tech getting fired, I was asked to work the from desk, yes secretary, and given no real date of how long it would last. So I got "lucky" and my boss got me laid off.....strange?

My last day will be the 27th of Feb, and I will commence grinding on March 1 or 2. I plan on playing 90% cash games and 10% mtts. I will begin playing sats. for some Sunday majors, and the occasional FT 50/50 and stars 50/50 too. I plan on doing some playing on Bodog and playing their Sunday $100 MTT< as they usually have a massive 25K plus overlay....

Anyway, I am anxious, nervous, and excited to begin my "journey through the blinds".
