I'm in South Padre Island, Texas now and having a great time. Basically we've been getting up at about 11am, going to the beach, drinking, coming back at like 4 or 5pm, taking a nap, eating, then going out to a club at like 10pm, coming home at 2am, continuing to party and then go to bed at 4am. It's been a blast. The weather has been perfect. I'd guess it's been around 80 everyday. We've had clear skies the entire time as well. Our sleeping arangment is a little cramped, but not too bad. Our place turned out to be really nice. We are in a condo and not a hotel room. We have a full service kitchen, sitting area w/ pull out couch and two bedrooms. We are right on the ocean and have a great view. I was honestly expecting a dump of a room, so I was very happy when I saw what we had. The only problem is that there is no maid service here and it's been getting pretty trashed.
My dumbass roommates almost got us kicked out of the resort last night. Basically they were being loud on the balcony and got the security to come up and talk to us. They claim they are strict about loud noise. I don't think it would have been too much of a problem, except earlier in the week my friends were wrestling after the bars and put a huge hole in the wall right next to the door. The security guard noticed this and wasn't too pleased. He even called in his supervisor. Basically, if we are at all loud again, I think we might be out of here. I think we can make it though. I got some pics of our view and the hole that I'll put up when I get home.
We've been playing a lot of beach volleyball. It's a great sport to play on the beach. I'm not very good, but my height does help when I'm playing the net. I'm definitely going to try to play more beach volleyball in the future.
Vanilla Ice is going to be at one of the clubs on Friday. I'm looking forward to that. Also, if you guys remember DJ scribble from shitty MTV fame about 6 years ago, he was here too. He was at a club a few nights ago and we were there. He was actually pretty good. I wasn't too crazy about him because I thought he changed songs too soon, but I won't argue he had some skills. My friends all thought he was really good. My friend and I used to rip on him all the time back when were in middle school and watched MTV. If you remember he used to always just turn the volume up and down when he was on. Anyway, it was funny seeing him here.
Ok, I'm heading down to the beach now. I've got a few more days of this and then I'm heading home on Saturday.

Woke up earlier today in hopes of getting on a semi-regular schedule. I played some 2/4 PLO on Stars and won $1700 in an hour. I was up as high as $2300 but lost a hand w/ AAxx vs AAxx to a flush. Oh well, I played well and ran better. Good start to the week after a frustrating one last week. It is 90 here in San Diego so I think I'm going to head down to the beach for a little while. My ankle is finally feeling better so I'm able to do more things now so that is good.

So I really need to update more! Florida is amazing...I was SO spoilt today. I had a 60 minute massage and a spa pedicure. I really want to go get a facial tomorrow and probably will do (haha I'm using Brit phrases now).
My day in Florida started out with waking up early and running like 3ish miles on the beach. I'm at Flagler Beach, FL and it's amazing. It's so unspoilt, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was only the most amazing thing evvverr (I'm staying at a B&B) and I was starving after running three miles so I of course, pigged out. Dinners have been amazing as well, there are these little restaurants up and down the beach that are so cool and quaint. There's also happy hour at the B&B where I brought my laptop and proceeded to 4 table some 1/2.
Anyway basically, my entire day was spent...running, eating, walking up and down the beach, drinking (haha oh yah there's this awesome biker bar called Mother's where it cost $4 altogether for some rum and coke and a corona!), hanging by the pool, spa time, happy hour + poker, taking a long bath and then more eating. Wow, life is hard.
I showed dodgy the End of the World video which is like supppper old but is where I get my "Cheerio old chap...righto" British impressions from. So, no music this time just an awesome funny clip. :)

Man I need to go on a vacation. Thank god I'm gonna head to vegas in a bit, but what I really want to do, is to go somewhere near the beach. I would love to rent out a bad ass beach house for a week and just relax, surf, and enjoy everything.
It's been really hot here in Austin, which is making it kindof unbearable outside. I might rent a party barge with my friends soon if we dont go to the beach.
I played a little poker today and won $400ish in an hour. Pretty sweet, but I gambled it up too much, which I know wont be profitable in the long run.
Thats it for today, I'm going to try to write everyday, just whats on my mind, somedays will be good, others not. Stay tuned!

Well, it appears the US government has nothing better to do than not let people play online poker.
I just read an email from epassporte to a poker site basically saying they were under investigation and even though they are confident they are not doing anything illegal they don't want to do anything the US government might deem illegal. blah blah blah............
Personally I would suggest pulling money off of epassporte immediately after seeing what can happen with Neteller last year. I have not heard of anyone having withdrawal issues from epass to their banks, however, I know sites like full tilt and stars won't let you use epass as a withdrawal option right now (I just tried).
Hopefully another payment processor steps up to the plate. I know Cake Poker said they were working with more than one to get things going so that's somewhat hopeful I guess.
On a lighter note I've decided to take the day off. It's 6 a.m. here in Huntington Beach and I just woke up. Think I'll be heading down to the beach around 9ish and hopefully get some surfing in. Also, there is this killer spot down the road in sunset beach called secret spot. I think it's run by a bunch of stoners and they make the sickest barbecque (sp?) chicken burrito ever. All things considered think it's going to be a good day.

Last week was spring break n me + about 20 friends rented a house on panama city beach which was pretty awesum..i was able to play about 20 hours while i was at the beach n managed to make 1200 playing NLHU and some PLO...went out of UB's 200K today shortly after my AA got all in preflop vs AK suited that spiked a flush...since the beginning of march ive managed to rake in $3800 and have been playing .5/1 as well as some 1/2 the last couple days..hopefully things keep up and my grades dont plumittttt..all the best

Taking a well deserved day off today. Basically, I just want to catch up on some non poker stuff. Got some movies to watch as well. Maybe head to the beach, later this evening........the weather is pretty nice today.

Ok this is going to be really short cuz I'm exhausted and have to go to bed. But oh man I had the funnest weekend ever. We had a pretty great crew out at the beach. Lots of non-poker card games, beach time, batchee on the beach, listening to random bands called Kristine and the Noize play at the local club! And yeah they spell noise with a Z................lol amazing. Great, great weekend. So many memorable moments, man I'm going to miss my friends here! Dewey is a rid place, so much drunkeness, its was kinda unbelievable what was going on!
Anyways I'll write more tomorrow. Of course I have tons of shit to do. All kinds of selling and giving away and packing up. Then I'm going to dinner with a couple friends for one of the last hoorahs of this week before I leave! Should be a good time.
