It has been a while since my last update - its just that Ive been VERY busy with everything.

I didnt play much in april but ended up winning $16K.  I actually cashed in a tourney for $6k which helped alot. 

Other than poker, I have been very busy searching for another property.  I found what I think is a solid investment opportunity.  Its a power of sale going for $217K - I put in a bid for $185K - we'll see how that goes.

Hope everyone has a solid May, I'll try and update a bit more.

I'm tilted. I just lost a blog entry. The first one in a quater. Basically the jist is this, i'll update more later.

Blah blah busy finals job interviews blah blah great opportunities blah blah took j4mbo took a nightclub, then a poker club he got donked out on blah blah down in bahamas now blah blah won a donkalite blah blah playing the main event tomorrow blah wish me luck blah blah.

No more poker today. Gonna go to my old local bar in IV, the Study Hall and watch the games and get drunk before work at 4pm. Then hopefully rest, as I have a busy 2 weeks ahead of me in Louisiana and Arkansas. GL at the tables and GL at the sportsbooks..

Played a bit today. Did very well for the amount of time I played. Probably made 45kish, and I think I played great, so I'm happy about that.

Short sessions feel better, but I rarely play them on purpose. I've just been really busy lately, and I have plans the next couple nights too. Apparently games have been good while I've been busy which kinda sucks. Hopefully they'll still be good when I get back.

I've gotten a lot of questions, and I'll try to get to them sometime. Like I said, I haven't had much time. One question I can answer that will save me a lot of time in the future: No, I don't currently offer coaching. I'll let it be known publicly if I do.

I've gotten really into Flight of The Conchords on HBO. You should maybe check it out if you like good tv shows.

I want to apologize for not posting regularly. I've been very busy lately moving in, catching up with old friends, and working.

I can't promise it will get better this week, but I'll make an effort.

Went out tonight, and I'm gonna be busy all of tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to play/post more starting Sunday.

ADZ on Stars "challenged" me to play 12 tables of 100/200nl HU. I put challenged in quotes because I accepted and there's no way he's gonna go through with it. He likes to talk.

PLO is going well in that I think I'm learning a lot, but I've been running bad lately. Probably lost 7 buyins the last few days at 25-50, which is a pretty standard downswing. I'm still up overall at plo since I've started playing.

I've done well in nl too, the little I've played, so I'm doing okay.

Haven't been playing much the past few days because I have been very busy. I have put in two sessions resulting in two 50K+ wins. I have been busy getting my taxes finalized and dealing with other cardrunners activities. Tonight some friends are coming into town and we are going to the bars. Should be a fun night.

Ran a bunch of errands today and wired money to ftp so I should be playing again in a couple days. Have a bunch of friends in town so I have been busy entertaining them.

I've been really bad about updating this past week, but things have gotten back on track the last few days. Last week I ran really poorly and dropped about 27 buyins overall. It was really disturbingly sick. Since then I've recouped my losses for the most part, and have been running close to expectation. My volume has really tailed off since I've been busy with some other projects, family, and law school.

I'm glad the yanks resigned posada rewarding him for a great season. We'll see where these non-boras Arod talks go, and their offer to Mo is insane...do they really think he's got that much left in the tank?

 

The next couple of days are going to be really busy too, especially with the big game on saturday. Hopefully the buckeyes can rebound and win the game that will decide the season.

Anyway, i'm pretty tired so i'll cut myself short.
