Got 2 suits, one grey one dark blue, both with light stripes but they are both very subtle stripes. I bought 3 dress shirts, some ties, and a belt plus some socks as well. I'm probably going to buy a new pair of shoes or two when I go home to Schaumburg on Friday.

Total cost was $3500 I believe, pretty much what I expected I guess. I'll be eating ramen for a few weeks to make up for that.

I've decided to take on 4 students instead of 2.  Same rules as before.  I will be accepting apps until friday, and then I'll contact the selected people this weekend and plan to outline a routine starting next week.

I have been reading apps.  I have not contacted anyone directly.  I have not finalized any decisions.  I plan on doing so after friday.

I've been really busy with CR work and some other things. I haven't been playing much, but I'm up around $500 on the month so far. Tomorrow I'll be going to an amusement park so that should always be fun. I plan on to start playing a lot (6+ hours day) on Friday. I plan to run these 6+ hour days until at least next Friday. I want to try to log at least 15k hands minimum by next Friday. I'll post some pics and go over some hands from this month when I return on Friday.

After I got back from Maryland on Friday I went to the mall and got an iPhone. I havn't even put in a hand of poker since because the thing is so addicting. We have hockey games on Wednesday and Friday and thanksgiving on Thursday. I need to play soon but if not this week, then definately this weekend.

I havent played a hand of poker since friday and not sure when i will again. this is due to cooler after cooler on thursday ight and friday and i defo tilted at least 70 in the end. i then got trashed over the weekend and i have been feeling like shit since. i didnt even make my FPP target. anyways im going back to 25NL for a while. BR is 1005. Coinfidence is shot..

So, it was time for my summer "cold". Felt it starting on Thursday night. Go figure, I had friday off too. Also, we had company come in from OHIO from Thursday till Saturday morning. Then Saturday afternoon we had a soccer windup for the boys. I played some poker on Friday while everyone was out of the house and this afternoon when I was feeling better. I'll try to play some more tonight after the kids go to bet.

 

So, between Friday and today, I played 880 hands (really wanted to play at least twice that amount) over almost 3 hours (pretty much 3 tabling). Made one good laydown today with AKo when I flopped TPTK on an A73 two heart board (pretty dry) when the SB raised my c-bet and the BB called his raise. Standard fold IMO.

So ya ive heard from reliable sources that I should start keeping a blog as it will be good for my game.  The only drawback is that im pretty lazy when it comes to blogging so I have to have some sort of guidelines otherwise I wont do it.  So im starting a blog challenge for myself.

Starting tomorrow:

1st week:  Have at least two blog entries (Thursday night + Sunday night)

2nd week:  2 blog entries (Tuesday night + Friday night)

3rd week: 3 blog entries (Tuesday night + Friday night + Sunday night)

4th week: 3 blog entries (Tuesday night + Friday night + Sunday night)

5th week: 4 blog entries (Tuesday night + Wednesday night + Friday night + Sunday night)

and so on...

So whether anybody who reads this likes it or not, your going to be finding out a lot more about me, my poker game, my running,  my dogs, my cat, my gf, my brothers, friends, school, etc.

Its been very up and down, still in profit, just, but at like 1pt/bb 100 over 10k hands, I know I've not been running great for sure, but I can't run a PokerEV graph to prove it as I'm only using PT3 now. Maybe I should get PT2 installed again.

 

I think I'll be getting coaching from terp, a well known 2+2er and DC coach.

 

I'm going to try and not play again until friday, take a few days off. From friday I am to play 2k hands a day atleast for the rest of the month.

Yeah I felt a little frisky tonight.  I decided to stay in and play some poker.  Usually its Friday and i'm off to happy hour, or to Dave & Buster, movies, crap like that.  Well I was talking with another CR member earlier and he said you have to play on Friday nights the games are so soft.  And I come to think of it and realized yeah I'm probably passing on a bunch of money. 

So if I'm going to play on Friday why not 1/2?....after all I am rolled for it.  Well here's the practice sesh of 1/2:

Another brief HU session.  we are 11 hands into it and I pick up JJ, he bets and I three bet, he shoves, and I call......ship it.

Well since I had an okay sesh I am off to grab some drinks, the night is young and there's plenty of liquor looking for a home.

Hey all.. i have not written in about 2 weeks. School has been stressing me out, and I have been pretty lazy with this blog stuff. I finally got my roll to 300 on friday playing 5$ sngs. For some reason I have not had any desire to play low limit cash games because i just dont feel like there is enough money in them. On friday i took a shot and played two tables of 10nl... and i loved it!... I played 665 hands and ran 36bb/100. which is pretty good. I havent had a chance to play all weekend  I played last night for about 2 hours and went up two BI.. but today already I had a couple of coolers and lost 3 bi. I feel i have an edge so far in this game.. we'll see how it goes. I am definately excited to start playing cash.. we'll see how it goes

Right  now BR about 330. My goal is to move up to 25 nl when i get to 800 or 30/35 buy ins... If I start crushing 10nl I might even wait untill I get to 1k to move up, give me some comfort zone.

I am really trying to understand poker tracker.. i still have a lot of questions but when i figure everything out i hope to post screen shots of every session on my blog.. incase anyone wants to keep track and mainly it will give me something to look back on.
