EDIT 2: On the finaltable of the 24K gtd=)
Hi,
last couple of days was unable to play as much as i wanted (after all it was Xmas).
1200 hands /Usd 115 / 9.61 BB/100
I am becoming more and more at ease to multitable (4x). Maybe i will try 6x in January.
Cheers,
Rui
Here is an example: I am playing 9 tables of NL50 and I have a really Laggy (32/28) player to my right. He opens from the cutoff and I 3 bet with TT from the blinds. This player 4 bets me and after a quick pause I choose to shove because he is very loose.
Of course he is only 4 betting me, someone who is playing 18/15, with QQ+,AKs types of hands. So in my case there is no reason for me to 5bet shove here. I know I should also be looking at his 4bet range, but I don't have a big enough sample size to make that correct decision. What I need to understand is that even though this player is very loose preflop, he is probably not 4betting too loose.
In my case I saw the numbers and I was influenced by them without really paying attention at the flow of the table. When this situation starts to happen, I like to stop playing more than six tables and try to get back to the usual four. In addition, I don't run the Hud and I try to make my decisions based on the flow of the game, and with the notes that I am taking during that session. This helps me turn off the auto pilot mode and get back to my A game, certainly an improvement.

I just did a blog titled to hud or not to hud, check it out. Hud has cost me more money in the past then I won. I 18 table without it, even got coached without using it, learned alot too!

wow 18 no hud???
I guess your hourly is pretty good. Btw, I didn't read your blog to create this post, just something I was experiencing and that like you said sometimes costs us a lot of money.
