What's Your Edge

PS: Some very good comments on my video - I appreciate them all. I def agree that the video is fairly nitty, but IMO i think that it is an easy, profitable way to play 1/2. LAG styles are very profitable too, but I feel that like a 19/15 style still gets paid off a lot and reduces variance in general.
PPS: Why is being nitty such a bad thing? better than the opposite, lol.
Fuck I wrote a long entry twice, and it randomly reloaded my browser both times and lost it so fuck it. I played good today, very good I think for me, and really avoided a lot of tough spots. Played really nitty it seems in my stats, but as I mentioned on a comment in my last blog, I dont play that nitty. Typically 2-3 tables are running at 22/17, 2-3 at 16/14 and 2 or so at 9/6 or 6/4 where the table dynamics just arent in my favor and I should probably switch tables. I am sure I will get my averages back up to 15/13ish after this little downswing/break even stint is over but until then I am tight as a nuns asshole. As promised I quit after 3 buyins up, gonna do it next 4 days. And here is graphs from the first 20k hands in Feb vs. March where I changed absolutely nothing:
Feb 20k:
Wait for it...
March 20k:
LOL VARIANCE.

Decided to put in an hour at 50NL 6max and came out with around $100 profit. No huge hands to speak of, basically just got decent value from the super fish when I made a hand. Played very nitty this session though, something like 14/10/1.8 but there were so many droolers I figured nitty was the way to go. Actually I see no point in playing LAG at all at these stakes unless you're at a tight table or working on your game. And if you are at a tight table, just get up and find another one. There are so many horrible players it's a walk in the park barring bad runs where they hit their draws every hand. I wonder if 100NL is this bad, haven't played 6max 100NL in quite a while, maybe I'll give it a shot this weekend.
