What's Your Edge
Took 2 days off - reviewed my hands on poker tracker and watched a couple videos.
Decieded to put in a quick 2 hour session - and ended up $2400. People absoultely give me no credit - lol. None! And I love it. The reason why I think I do so well is I always stay one step ahead of the other players. My little recent downswing was because I hiccuped and triped up a bit - I wasnt playing my A game...
Going to Niagra tomorrow - goodnight.

Did you ever do a member contribution video? I'd love to see your style...esp. since you play on UB.

Never recorded myself - if there is alot of interest I could probably do a session though
I´ve been doing a really good job selecting tables lately the action is just at its finest, but I cant really take advantage of that just yet. My most recent session leaves me to believe so.
Well played.

Just for the sake of the argument.

I've really rededicated myself to going back and learning the fundamentals of a solid TAG game at the low limits. The main thing that has always given me problems, and contributed almost exclusively to my recent "downswing" (aka bad play), is pot control. I've really been focusing on when I should control the pot and when to get the money in. My recent play has been excellent, with my numbers up around 19/17, which is where I want to be. For a while, I was playing around a 15/12 game and getting destroyed by overvaluing the hands I was playing. I found that playing a REALLY nitty style was making me become very impatient and thus becoming too attached to the hands I DID play. Opening up my game just slightly has allowed myself to not become so attached to the cards before the river, simply because I'm playing more hands and can throw away marginal holdings much more easily. Here are my numbers from the last two short sessions, sessions in which I'm running right around expectation (according to poker ev):
I'm really happy that I seem to have diagnosed and am working on fixing the biggest leak in my game. But as always, it's a work in progress. My bankroll is building back up nicely, rebounding from my recent horrible play.
Bankroll: $1365.42 + March rakeback (right now around $200)
