What's Your Edge
It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the final table plays out. This is the first WSOP I'm looking forward to watching in a few years -- Scotty Ngyuen made it very far and I love watching him, plus some of my friends got to feature tables and I want to see that!

I'm going to buy a 80gig ipod before I leave for Louisiana SundayNight/MondayMorning. I have a generation 3 that I don't use anymore because of the battery life, hard drive space, no video, and a bunch of shit. So it's time, time to go 80gigs, time for a battery, time to go black, time for video. It's time (I hope the 120 doesn't come out too soon, I kinda want that). Having an ipod is so useful for installations because I do a bunch of work at computers and servers, so it helps pass the time and I don't have to talk to anyone.
ASVT is coming up this weekend, countless frat friends are coming up/down to get shit show hammered, while watching sorority girls from around the state play beach volleyball. I'm gitty.

We have been dreaming of taking a trip to the UK based around viewing some live matches. We enjoy watching a number of the teams and are familiar with most of the coaches and players after several years of watching. While Man. U, Chelsea and Liverpool get the lion's share of the media attention, we also enjoy teams like Tottenham, Everton, and Charlton Athletic. The premiership plays an exciting brand of soccer; aggressive, fast paced with lots of passing. The level of skill league wide is the best in the world.
We don't bother watching American soccer, no offense to them. We certainly root for teams like Fulham and Blackburn with a number of American players on their squads. The only chance for American soccer to remain viable on the world stage is to keep sending some of their best young talent to play in the European leagues. We'll see if David Bechham has any impact here, but it won't affect my watching habits until they gather many more international stars.
My sleeper pick of the season is Totenham, with no. 9 Dimitar Berbatov having a strong season. The reality is the powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester United are too stacked to probably be dethroned, but its still fun to dream.
Been playing a couple hundred hands of Limit hold' em the past couple of days, i think it is important for me to get a variety in my playing schedule so that I don't become bored and start playing badly. After watching schnides video i played some solid 6 max hold em. My heads up game continues to be as solid as it ever has been. I am focusing on my late stage playin in the 9 man games and i think i am getting even better.
My fantasy football team squeaked out a less than 2 pt win this week. very excited about that. THANK YOU PEYTON. those 6 int's really helped my cause. Now i am only about a game out of the playoffs and a few more wins and i will be in. They are annoucing the league MVP's for mlb today, as much as i hope J Roll wins the national league i think it would be a sin not to give it to matt holiday who i also enjoy watching. Goooooo niners plz keep it within 9.5 tonight.
After Lauren's family left I managed to play 2 tables for about 1.5 hours while watching the Chargers / Colts SNF game.
It started off poorly having to fold the turn in the second hand I was dealt (he told me in the chat he had AAxx and after watching him play for a few more orbits I believe him):

That was my only hand of the whole session (150 hands) where I lost more than 7 big bilinds.
Here is the biggest winner of the session:

And the overall results:
I have a busy day today with my day job but I hope to get some hands in at some point.

I don't feel that great about it. I feel "due" for my win, and I am still on a downswing, but its close between me and Doomer. I actually made 1200 in class, then came home and made another 3800.

It's ironic. After winning, not losing, I have decided to spend the rest of the night watching GP BT and CTS video's in order to just keep my game in check.

Hi's and lows of gambling. Tough stuff sometimes..
Repect/honor/love.
As of now, I'm starting to read more books on PLO and PLO/8. I'm also reading and watching learning websites.
It should be a fun adventure. anyways. another time. I'm off to bed.
Tired and don't really feel like doing a real blog, will probably do one tomorrow. I've been watching Luke (AceCR) tear up some 10/20 and 25/50 tables and watching old reruns of Southpark.
Which brings me to (since I haven't posted a vid lately)....this: LOLOL
Haven't played since last Tuesday - been busy at work and watched Football all weekend - so lazy. I think I've got the coaching thing ready to go. Looking forward to it. Been watching some videos and working on some things like that.
i played 600+ limit 1/2, running at -9bb, with a pathetic 42 won at showdown. AA, AKo, AKs, AQs are all losers. especially in 6 max, i got beat down like a stepchild. fortunately. i turned my head back to no limit and covered some losses.
one thing i'm happy about is although losing, i didnt tilt as much as before, in terms of BB, maybe 10 or less. however, i noticed some really obvious bad plays especially after watching a couple of videos tonight. 1) call too light on the river w/ basiclly nothing. 2) get caught in the middle with marginal hands which might be ahead by a little but really vulnerable and i shouldnt have put myself in that situation at all. 3) not aggressive enough, i'm playing 23/15, 6max and FR combined.
notes from videos:
KPR: fold unimproved without regreting much. i hang myself over there too often
schneid: the 33 hand and excellent hand reading. when watching him play, i just feel i'm far from solid. it's not only he gives spot on analysis, but he does it really quick. i find myself stuck in many spots and then later when reviewing, i could make a better dicision. maybe add table gradually and never more than 3 until really used to it.
stellawind: J7 hand. again i need to think over situations more thoroughlly and solid is the key.
